No smoking area, exorbitant duty-free prices. Everything is more expensive than anywhere else in Saint Martin.

The airport staff are consistently unpleasant to French people (six in my case). Furthermore, they make no effort to speak to customers in French, even though most are bilingual. They treat customers like cattle… I should work somewhere else! The only friendly people are those who maintain the floors and empty the trash. In short, I have no desire to stop in Saint Martin; it's just a transit airport on the way to the other islands!
